Highlights
Not only does the new CLA’s wide track boost the car’s road presence and help make it look powerful, it also helps cornering ability and straight-line stability.
Side-on, the new CLA has a particularly dynamic appearance thanks to the forward-angled front grille at the end of the elegant bonnet. Along with the diamond radiator grille, the car always makes a statement.
With the new CLA, it’s never a question of ‘either or’ because this is a car that has the best of both: a breathtakingly dynamic coupé roofline and practical, four-door layout.
The muscular shoulder line running from the front wheels to the sculpted rear end is the CLA’s defining design feature.
Thanks to the rear lights featuring a horizontal, two-section design, the rear of the new CLA looks especially powerful. An additional bonus of this design is that the boot lid is wide enough to fit even the bulkiest objects in.
The new CLA has a welcoming, wrap-around cockpit, with smooth transitions from the instrument panel to the centre console and door trims. Class-leading choices of trim and optional 64-colour ambient lighting help to show off every detail.
The state-of-the-art Widescreen Cockpit consists of two HD displays. On the right is a touchscreen that shows all the infotainment content and vehicle settings, while the left-hand side is an instrument cluster with various display styles for you to choose from.
The steering wheel features pronounced contours, thick padding and a leather-wrapped rim with perforated side grips, putting the delights of precise handling literally in the driver’s hands. Convenient multifunction controls do likewise while operating the most frequently needed vehicle functions. Raised thumbrests are placed at the ideal “10 and 2 o’clock” positions, near the shift paddles.
Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy personalized comfort. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes a dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 0.0002-inch from entering the cabin.

In the new CLA-Class, the high-resolution MULTIBEAM LED headlamps, each with individually controlled high-performance LEDs, automatically illuminate the road with a hitherto unsurpassed, precision-controlled distribution of exceptionally bright light – without dazzling other road users.
Legendary 18-inch AMG alloy wheels feature five pairs of ultrathin, tapered spokes that assert their light weight and high rigidity. They’re fitted with low-profile all-season Extended Mobility tires.
